Renard Poché: Barackin’ da vote & da vibe

Local musician and my friend LisaPal’s sig other has released a new CD exclusively on da web. 4U/4 ME can be sampled and purchased here. You *must* go and sample Renard’s jazzy funkalicious sounds. His track “We Are The People” is featured on Nation for Change, a site in support of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign.

“We are the people, we make the world go ’round and ’round and ’round….”

NOLA ARTISTS ROCK!

Will go check him out right now! Thanks for the musical lead! I wish I could get out to the local musical scene these days, but CDs will have to suffice!!

It sounds like he does indeed have the funk for all of us.

Renard’s CD is beyond incredible. If you like New Orleans funk, you HAVE to own these tunes.

At the risk of getting thrown out of this casa, here comes my review: Freakin’ great funk and soul. My damn body cannot stop moving and groovin’.

Tres kewl! So many elements to this band’s sound. (Damn girl! Yer dancin’ in yer chair!)

Screw it! I’m gonna dance all night! Screw the bad stuff, it’s time to groove.

Renard, thank you.

Editilla say it’s da’Beat…Barack’N'Roll!
You on da’Ladda, Mxs. Babeluna!

In case y’all hadn’t noticed, Rangoon is New Orleans today…but with a bullet.
Please check out my new song, Take the Burma Night Train, at my other blog:

Editilla O’rilla d’Aphasia

ps~I will be in town for da’Boogaloo and would like very much to congrooviate wit’da Rising Tide about working on the 3rd Anniversary, RT3 (which for me feels like tomorrow)?
Given the impending Presidential Forum in September, I’d say It Is Showtime Now folks….Time to Barak’N'Roll!
Or just Roll Tide!
